People have exchanged their experiences for the Word of God.

What a minister/ministry does or does not experience does not change the scriptures.  Basing an interpretation of scripture on non experiential knowledge is why the world is in the condition it is in.

It is my hope as we meditate and really chew on the meaning of these scriptures that we can erase decades of misinterpretation based on a lack of experiential knowledge of the Word of God.

Folks we have to quit making stuff up because we are not getting results.   Let’s learn the scriptures and start believing them instead of “wives” tales being spread by ministers and ministries that are not getting results.   We can always make up an excuse for why something didn’t happen and then give up….  Let’s focus on the Word instead.

Don’t quit the race that’s already been won by Jesus.

Use the following Spiritual Truths to overrule the lies and misleading religious wives tales that have no standing against the Truth of the Word of God.

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. (Exodus 23:25 KJV)

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. (Psalms 31:24 KJV)

Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. (Psalms 91:9-10 KJV)

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. (Psalms 91:14-16 KJV)

A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.(Psalms 103:1-5 KJV)

Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalms 107:19-21 KJV)

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.(Isaiah 40:29-31 KJV)

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.(Isaiah 41:10 KJV)

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.(Isaiah 53:5 KJV)

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. (Matthew 8:17 KJV)

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:18 KJV)

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 10:38 KJV)  This scripture was the foundation scripture that brought hope and life into a weary pastor who was tired of seeing his parishioners die from disease. He was not going to let one more child die and when the Holy Ghost brought the revelation of how “Jesus went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed.  Not putting sickness on them. With this new hope he stormed into the home and fought with the Dr. and then saved a little girls life and others in the same home. When he revealed Jesus to them as their healer.   A little boy from Edinburg, Scotland with the desire to make a difference, went on to reveal Jesus as the Healer to his entire congregation and then ministered to thousands around the World.   John Alexander Dowie (1847-1907)

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (Romans 8:11 KJV)

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14 KJV)

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Hebrews 13:8 KJV)

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (1 Peter 2:24 KJV)

How do you use Spiritual Truths to overrule the lies and wives’ tales regarding the gospel?  Here is an example.

Say you’re feeling afraid and not really sure about healing.  You know it’s in the Bible but you’ve heard rumors that healing passed away. Or you’ve heard that God doesn’t heal everyone just the people who have mysteriously earned it.   Well we know that according to Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever which means He provided healing to those before he died and now since the Cross he has already provided healing for ever. We also know according to 2nd Timothy 1:7 God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. And finally we know according to Acts 10:38 that Jesus went about doing good and healing ALL.   The word of God overrules those rumors we’ve heard for years.   So now you just learn what the Word says about your situation and let the Word of God consume you and become a part of you until and after your healing becomes a part of you.

For just about every situation I can think of there is a spiritual Truth that overrules the manmade rumor that has been passed down for decades.
